Dresslove Law respects the privacy of people who visit our website or contact us about possible legal services. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through www.dresslovelaw.com, how we use and disclose it, and the choices available to you.
In this Policy, “Dresslove Law,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean Joshua Scott Dresslove, doing business as Dresslove Law. Our office is located at 4326 W. Cheyenne Ave., Suite 109, North Las Vegas, NV 89032.
This Policy applies to information collected through this website. It does not replace an engagement agreement or the privacy and confidentiality obligations that may apply after an attorney-client relationship is formed.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
When you request contact from the office, we may collect:
- your full name;
- your email address;
- your telephone number;
- the legal situation you select;
- whether you indicate that a deadline may be approaching;
- your preferred response method;
- a limited optional summary of what you need help with; and
- information you provide in later communications with the office.
The public website form accepts only a limited optional summary. It is not designed to collect a detailed case history, documents, payment information, Social Security numbers, financial-account credentials, medical information, health-insurance information, or other highly sensitive information. Do not send that information through the website form.
Information collected automatically
When you use the website, our hosting and security providers may automatically receive limited technical information, such as:
- Internet Protocol address;
- browser and device type;
- operating system;
- pages requested and the date and time of a request;
- referring page or general traffic source;
- security, error, and diagnostic information; and
- essential cookie or session identifiers needed to deliver and protect the website.
Embedded Yelp review content may receive limited technical information, such as your IP address, browser or device information, referring page, and information about interactions with the embedded content. Yelp may also set or read cookies according to its own privacy practices.
At launch, we do not intend to use advertising pixels, remarketing, behavioral advertising, session-replay technology, or technology that uses your website activity to build an advertising profile.
2. How we use information
We may use information to:
- respond to your inquiry;
- contact you through the method you requested;
- schedule or coordinate an initial conversation;
- determine whether the office may be able to consider your matter;
- conduct conflict and suitability screening;
- communicate whether the office will or will not offer representation;
- operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website;
- prevent fraud, misuse, or security incidents;
- maintain records reasonably necessary for conflicts, professional obligations, legal claims, or business administration; and
- comply with law, court orders, professional duties, and lawful requests.
We do not use an inquiry as permission to send unrelated promotional email.
3. Attorney-client relationship and prospective-client information
Sending information through this website does not create an attorney-client relationship, does not guarantee that the office will review or accept a matter, and does not protect or extend a deadline.
Representation begins only when Dresslove Law and the client complete an engagement agreement and any conditions stated in that agreement are satisfied.
Even when no attorney-client relationship is formed, information received from a person who genuinely consults the office about possible representation may be subject to professional duties concerning prospective clients. Nothing in this Policy is intended to waive or reduce those duties.
Please review our Website Disclaimer before sending an inquiry.
4. Calls and email
If you ask us to contact you, we may respond by phone or email, according to the method you select.
Ordinary email may not be fully secure. Do not use it to send highly sensitive information unless the office gives you a secure method.
5. Cookies and similar technology
The website and its hosting provider may use essential cookies or similar technology that is necessary to:
- deliver pages and remember basic session choices;
- balance traffic and maintain reliability;
- detect abuse and protect the website; and
- diagnose technical errors.
At launch, Dresslove Law does not intend to use nonessential advertising cookies, remarketing cookies, or cross-site advertising trackers.
If we later add nonessential analytics, we will update this Policy and provide the required choice before enabling that technology. You may also control cookies through your browser, although blocking essential cookies may affect website operation.
6. When we disclose information
We may disclose information to:
- website and form providers, including Netlify, to host, secure, and operate the site and transmit an inquiry;
- business email and communications providers, including Google Workspace, to deliver messages that you request;
- review-platform providers, including Yelp, when embedded review content loads or when you choose to visit the review platform;
- professional advisers and vendors that help us operate the practice and are subject to appropriate confidentiality and security obligations;
- courts, regulators, law enforcement, or other persons when disclosure is required or authorized by law, court order, professional duties, or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or security; and
- a successor in a business transaction, subject to applicable professional, confidentiality, privacy, and notice obligations.
We do not disclose information to data brokers. We do not sell covered information for monetary consideration. We do not disclose website inquiry data for cross-context behavioral advertising.
A service provider that processes information on our behalf is not authorized by us to use website inquiry information for its own advertising.
7. Retention and deletion
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, subject to professional duties, conflict-checking needs, legal holds, security requirements, and applicable law.
Our intended schedule is:
- raw website submissions are deleted from the form platform within 30 days after triage, after any necessary information is moved to an approved system;
- records of an inquiry that does not become a client matter, including the disposition and necessary correspondence, may be retained for up to four years after the final non-engagement communication or last substantive contact;
- a minimal conflict record may be retained for the life of the practice; and
- information connected to a client matter is handled under the office’s client-file retention policy and engagement terms.
We may retain information longer when reasonably necessary for a litigation hold, legal claim, court order, regulatory requirement, professional obligation, fraud prevention, security investigation, or documented conflict-checking purpose.
When records are scheduled for disposal, we use reasonable measures to delete or destroy them securely and instruct applicable service providers to do the same, subject to lawful backup cycles.
8. Security
Security practices depend on the systems and providers used. Dresslove Law seeks to use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the information handled through the website and will review the practices of providers used for hosting, forms, and email.
No Internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Do not send highly sensitive information through the public form. If we need that information, we will tell you how to provide it.
9. Your privacy choices and requests
You may contact us to request that we:
- confirm whether we maintain website information about you;
- provide a copy of information you submitted through the website;
- correct inaccurate contact information;
- delete information, subject to applicable exceptions and professional obligations;
- stop future nonessential collection or sharing where applicable; or
- not sell covered information.
Nevada sale opt-out
Dresslove Law does not currently sell covered information. Nevada consumers may nevertheless submit a verified request directing us not to make a present or future sale of their covered information.

To protect your information, we may take commercially reasonable steps to verify your identity and authority. We will use information provided for verification only to evaluate and respond to the request. We may decline or limit a request when required or permitted by law or when compliance would conflict with professional duties, privilege, a legal hold, conflict-checking needs, or another person’s rights. If so, we will explain the decision where permitted.
10. Consumer health data
The public form is not intended to collect consumer health data. Do not submit medical records, health-insurance information, diagnoses, symptoms, treatment information, reproductive or sexual-health information, disability information, biometric or genetic information, or precise geolocation through the form.
If Dresslove Law later introduces an intake process that collects or uses consumer health data, we will assess the applicable requirements and, where required, provide a separate consumer-health-data privacy notice, consent process, request method, and appeal process before that collection begins.
11. Children
This website is intended for adults seeking information about legal services. It is not directed to children under 13, and the website form is not intended to collect personal information directly from a child under 13. A parent or legal guardian seeking help concerning a child should contact the office and should not place sensitive information in the public form.
12. Third-party websites and embedded content
The website includes embedded Yelp review content and may link to government agencies, courts, review platforms, or other third-party websites. Embedded content may load scripts or frames directly from the provider. This may allow the provider to receive technical information and use cookies under its own policies. Dresslove Law does not control those services or their privacy and security practices. A link or embed does not mean that we endorse all content or practices of the third party. Review the provider’s policies before interacting with embedded content or providing information.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy when our website, vendors, data practices, or legal obligations change. We will post the revised Policy with a new “Last updated” date. If a change materially affects how we use information already collected, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent when required by law.
